Every
woman brings something special to the sisterhood. Only our awesome God could
create us to be so distinctively unique. You (yes you!) are a one-of-a-kind
creation with a one-of-a-kind purpose. Instead of saying, “No, not me!” (in
humility or even rebellion) grab something munchy and celebrate. You, dear
sister, are special!
Yet
as distinct and unique as we are, we share similar needs and struggles as we
cope with what life dumps on our doorstep (and that includes dealing with the
news in the morning paper.) Life, by its very nature is diverse and requires a
different kind of handling at different times. It’s kind of like shoes . . . you
wouldn’t wear tennies to a wedding, would you? But let’s face it, certain
sisters are better at certain types of situations than others.
Why is that?
Because God made us this way.
If
you will bring everything you are and surrender it to Him He will take
everything you are and make it better—with no plastic surgery, no diet, and no
exercise required.

Brenda Josee, Vonette Bright, Nancy Moser |
When
Nancy Moser and Vonette Bright decided to write the Sister Circle novels, they
never dreamed the women within the pages would come to life the way they have.
They wanted the characters to feel like friends and lead readers to a deeper
relationship with Christ—and other. The "sisters" in the novels form a Sister
Circle, and so . . . that's where all this started. And now, real life women
like you (and you, and yes, you!) are gathering together in the way that only
women can, and rediscovering the excitement of being sisters-in-Christ.
On
this website we'll show you how to start a Sister Circle; we'll introduce you to
the novels and a new non-fiction Sister Circle Handbook; we'll let you
read excerpts from the books and even provide discussion questions. We have a
page where you can share pictures and the inside scoop from your own womanly
gatherings, along with information about having Brenda Josee and Nancy Moser
come to your church and put on a real-life Said So Sister Seminar.
But
before you dive in, we want to share one last thing: the Sister Circle pledge.
Link pinkies with your bestest friend and have a go at saying it out loud:
